Lithakia Village - Zante Zakynthos Greece
Lithakia is one of the oldest villages on the island built at the lower southeast slope of Megalo Vouno (literally translating as large mountain) and it extends out as far as the gulf of Laganas. Lithakia is a village which has not been commercialised by tourism and therefore is still traditional, quiet and relaxing.
The village is located between the two resorts of Keri Lake and Laganas on the south east coast of the island. The Church of St Ioannis in Lithakia is worth visiting being a good example of traditional Zakynthian ecclesiastical architecture.
