Zante Monastery of Eleftherotria - Zakynthos Lagopodo Greece

It is situated at a beautiful panoramic view of the village Lagopodo, and very close to the church of Saint Mavra. Was established at 1962 by the Archimandrite Chrysostomos Gelbesis, spiritual father to this day of the hermitage.

In the monastery there are 17 Nuns led by the Abbess Magdalene Bakea.
